Connecting Our Historic
Past To Our Future

A long-term regeneration programme is taking place in the Rochford District, which will boost the local economy and deliver sustainable enhancements in the community while reducing costs and supporting the Councils’ carbon reductions targets.

As part of the changes, Rochford’s Freight House will be the site of the new council offices, while a new community centre will replace the Mill Arts and Events Centre.

These up-to-date facilities will bring much needed change and efficiency to the community, allowing the council to evolve into a pioneering and dynamic organisation.
