Rayleigh Pre-Application Engagement Webinar: Open for registration

Voyage Partnership are running a webinar on Wednesday 17th March at 6pm for members of the public to find out more and ask questions about the proposals for the Rayleigh Mill Arts and Events Centre and the Civic Suite sites.

The free to attend, online webinar event hosted on Zoom, will share details of the proposals for the development of the new purpose-built community centre in Rayleigh, housing at the Mill Arts and Events Centre site and housing and a commercial building at the Civic Suite site. There is opportunity to ask questions both in advance of the webinar event – via a form on the website – or during the webinar by providing your question in text format in the Q&A function in Zoom. Deadline for questions in advance is 12noon on 15th March.

The webinar event will be chaired by Mike Davies, Rochford District resident and Chairman of the Rayleigh Town Museum. It will last 90 minutes and as many questions as possible will be responded to in the time available. Any questions that are not answered on the evening, will be responded to and published in full on the Voyage Partnership website shortly after the event. A recording of the webinar will also be available to view after the event via Rochford District Council’s YouTube channel.

COVID-19 restrictions provide challenges in terms of community engagement and this webinar is one of the ways in which we are seeking the views of residents living and working in the community.

About the event and how to attend:

  • The Raleigh Pre-Application Engagement webinar will be held on Wednesday, 17th March from 6pm-7:30pm. The session will start promptly at 6pm.
  • To attend, you need to register in advance at: Details of how to login to the event on the evening of the 17th March, will be emailed to you, at the email address submitted when registering for the event.
  • The event will be hosted on Zoom Webinar, as such, participants will need an internet connection to attend. Participants will not be visible on the webinar, so a camera is not needed.
  • To help us to prepare you can ask questions in advance of the event, these need to be submitted via an online form on the website: Deadline for questions in advance is 12noon on 15th March.
